About Algomint

Algomint is a blockchain bridge and minting platform that brings Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins onto the Algorand network, enabling users to access Algorand's DeFi ecosystem with assets from other chains. Users deposit BTC or ETH into custody with Copper.co and receive wrapped tokens, goBTC and goETH, on a 1:1 ratio, which are redeemable on demand; the platform also issues goUSD and a governance token, goMINT. The product targets DeFi participants who want to use Bitcoin or Ethereum-based value within Algorand's high-speed, low-fee environment, and the wrapped assets are compatible with decentralized exchanges and protocols including Tinyman, Pact, Folks Finance, and Humble Swap. Algomint also offers a goBASKET product accessible via a dedicated app.
