These terms govern your use of cryptoindustry.com and any associated subdomains, applications, newsletters and services (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Crypto Industry (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using the Site, creating an account, submitting a listing, purchasing a premium listing or advertising placement, subscribing to our newsletter, or otherwise interacting with the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above shows when the current version took effect. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, including posting a notice on the Site or emailing account holders. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Crypto Industry is an information portal for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. The Site includes:
Most information on the Site is sourced from third-party providers, public sources, or user submissions and is provided for general informational purposes only.
Nothing on the Site is financial, legal, tax, investment or professional advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, token or other financial product. We do not promote or sell securities or financial products and we do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence.
Information on the Site may be inaccurate, outdated or incomplete. You should always conduct your own research and seek professional advice before making any decision based on what you read here. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.
To use the Site you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. By using the Site you confirm that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Site complies with the laws of your country, state or other applicable jurisdiction. The Site is not directed at any person in any jurisdiction where the publication or availability of the Site is prohibited.
Some features of the Site require you to create an account through our self-service portal, including submitting a listing, claiming a listing, purchasing a premium upgrade and managing an advertising placement.
When you create an account you agree to:
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, contain false information, or are used in connection with prohibited activity.
You may submit a company or event for inclusion in the directory through the portal. We may request additional information before approving any submission and we reserve the right to decline, edit or remove any submission for any reason.
Our directory has been populated using user submissions and an internal content curation process, so existing listings may already cover your company or event. To take ownership of an existing listing, claim it through the portal. Claims are verified using a company email address or another method we consider reliable.
Once you have claimed a listing, you can update it or request its removal through the portal. If you cannot claim a listing for any reason and need to update or remove information about your company or event, contact us at hello@cryptoindustry.com.
You confirm that any information you submit or update is accurate, that you have the right to submit it, and that the listing is for a real company or event. You must not impersonate, misrepresent or submit listings for businesses you do not own or are not authorised to represent.
You may upgrade a listing to a featured listing or premium listing through the portal. The features included, the price and the term will be shown at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, premium listings renew automatically at the end of each term on the same pricing and terms then in effect. You can cancel renewal at any time through the portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term, after which the listing reverts to a standard listing.
Premium listings are paid in US Dollars (USD) by credit or debit card via our payment processor, Stripe. By purchasing a premium listing you also agree to Stripe’s terms.
Change of mind refunds may be requested within 24 hours of payment by contacting hello@cryptoindustry.com. After this period, payments are non-refundable except where required by law, including the consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law.
Prices shown at checkout are exclusive of any applicable taxes (including GST) unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes, duties or levies that apply to your purchase, except those we are required by law to collect.
Advertising opportunities are described on our advertise page. Advertising terms (including placement, duration, creative requirements and price) are agreed at the time of booking and form part of these terms in respect of that booking. We reserve the right to refuse, remove or modify any advertisement that we consider misleading, harmful, offensive or otherwise inconsistent with the Site.
Advertising can be paid in US Dollars (USD) by credit or debit card via Stripe, or in selected cryptocurrencies. Accepted methods, prices and (for cryptocurrency) the conversion rate are shown at the time of booking. Cryptocurrency payments are calculated at the rate displayed at the time of purchase, and once a cryptocurrency transaction is confirmed on-chain it cannot be reversed by us. By paying via Stripe you also agree to Stripe’s terms.
Change of mind refunds for advertising may be requested within 24 hours of payment by contacting hello@cryptoindustry.com. After this period, payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Where a refund is granted on a cryptocurrency payment, we may, at our discretion, refund in the same cryptocurrency at the then-current rate or in fiat equivalent.

Our collection and handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Site you acknowledge that we may collect and process personal information as set out in that policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and all information, content, services and features provided through it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement and uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, secure or free of viruses, that defects will be corrected, or that any content will be accurate, complete, current or reliable.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any non-excludable rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
Subject to the paragraph above, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
You agree to indemnify and hold us, our directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your breach of these terms, your use of the Site, your content, or your breach of any law or third-party right.
You may stop using the Site at any time and close your account through the portal or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, your account or any listing at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or used the Site in a way that may cause harm to us, our users or any third party.
On termination, sections of these terms that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, intellectual property and governing law) will continue to apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia and the courts of appeal from them, except that we may bring proceedings in any jurisdiction where you reside or do business.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with any specific terms agreed in writing for advertising or premium services and our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Site.
Severability. If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or, if that is not possible, severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms is not a waiver of that provision.

Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemics, government action, network failures or third-party service outages.
